Halloween

We had a great Halloween here. I had to work, but still made the best of it. First we took the kids to a Halloween Party that Zach's work had set up- I was so excited to go. They were going to have face painting, hay rides, a corn maze, and a BBQ. The night of it was storming SO bad out- we decided though to go though and see what the deal was. Luckily when we got there they had an indoor place all set up so we could at least go in and eat. Briana was able to have her face painted as well. Sucked that it was raining but at least we were able to eat some good BBQ!

Since our first Pumpkin Patch was rained out, we went again. At first we were just gonna do our family. But my sister was involved in a rather bad car accident before we were able to go. She spent some time in the ICU and her car was destroyed. My niece and nephews were with her (Alyssa-3, Xavier-2, Isiah-10 months) I am so thankful they are all ok now. So, back to my stroy- since she was in that accident my mom came into town from Ohio so she could stay with her since Catherine's ankle is broken and she is not allowed to lift anything over 5lbs- we invited my mom and the kids to go with us. We had a good time, it was pretty warm out but it was windy.

So now on the day itself, since I had to work Briana went over to Catherine's house to go trick or treating with them. She had a really good time and liked being with her grandma. I dressed her and Jameson up and took pictures before I took Briana over to Catherine's house.
My kids are so stinking cute. And it has been decided that next year Zach and I are also gonna dress up!

Some updates

I have been so bad about coming here to update any information. But, I promise I will get better!

First things I have decided to not only make this a blog about us but one about being a mom, a woman, a friend, a wife, and a person as well. I want to share my thoughts, what I am doing, what my kids are doing, and post our travels as well. One thing I love a lot is traveling and we are making it a bigger priority in life moving forward. Next year we are headed to Vegas and then to Myrtle Beach- I can't wait. We have these trips on our plate as well: Germany, Japan, Disney World/Land, and Alaska.....just have to work on getting them set up.

So keep coming by and I promise I will make this much more exciting to visit!
